Although some very blessed people are naturals in front of a camera, for most of us, it can be an unnatural and awkward experience (this is why I prefer to stay behind it most of the time). However, the most attractive versions of ourselves are our relaxed and authentic selves. This is why I really try to tailor my sessions to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

To start this process, I like to meet my clients in person to before the shoot. This gives me a chance to get a feel for your style, what you are wanting to get out of your session, your vision, and also for me to explain to you how everything works on my end and answer any questions you have. It also lets us get the tedious business things out of the way like filling out forms and payment information.

Now for the fun part: for portrait sessions I shoot mostly in natural light (although other options are available if you’d like!). During the session itself, we’ll be walking around and exploring the location, getting a wide variety of different settings and poses, and I may even play some music while we’re shooting! If it’s only you being photographed during a session, feel free to bring whoever you’d like with you to help you feel more comfortable and to keep you company when I’m setting up or adjusting things.

After the session and editing time, I will hand-deliver your digital and printed images straight to you!
